Welcome to the youth ministry department at Bethlehem Baptist Church. We believe in and love working with our young people both in the Intermediate and High School stages. See our facebook page.

We are committed to serving the youth in our neighbourhood, city, region, nation & planet. We have youth from many different walks of life and we welcome diversity.

Each of our ministry areas is led by a team of volunteers who enjoy working with young people.

W.I.R.E.D means ‘walking in revelation every day’. It is our desire to see every young person having the revelation of Christ evident every day in their lives.

 PHASE

Youth in years 7&8 (Intermediate)
Our focus is on creating an accepting culture, having heaps of fun and making God known in a relevant way.
Phase on Sunday. Our own programme during both Sunday morning services - games, prizes, food and a relevant discussion time.

PHASE TOO

Youth in year 9

This group lead by Adam Yates is aimed to help year 9 young people transition from a weekly “out of church” environment to a greater knowledge and participation of a church service and how this works.
Meets weekly (during the school term) at 9am ONLY in Pastor Ross’s office.

W.I.R.E.D

Youth in years 9-13

WOW (w.i.r.e.d. on Wednesday) @ Bethlehem Baptist each alternate week - this is our large group time with all youth being together, worship time, a message and supper.

On the other week we have Lgroups - small “life” groups run by a leader that meets in a home to discuss a relevant topic.

As well as Wednesday nights we have igroups - interest groups in things such as Radiate (girls group), bargain shopping, youth band, sports, hunting & fishing, dance, drama plus more...

Camps
Throughout the year we run our own youth camp, and we attend Mystery Creek Easter Camp.
Social Activities
On a regular basis include: road trips, end of term parties, end of year youth banquet and more!
