How to get connected
Bethlehem Baptist is a large community comprising people from all walks of life, and at times it is a little daunting to know where to start making connections.
On Sunday...
The first person to meet you is the friendly car parking attendents that help you park your vehicle safely.
At the church doors you will meet one of our welcome team. They will be able to direct you and your family to our various activities as appropriate. To identify these people they all wear green badges. There is also an information counter "BBC information" where you can also receive assistance.
For more information about what is going on during our Sunday services please click on this link.
Next Step...
When you are ready let us know your name and contact details.
Not everyone feels comfortable doing this right away, and we don't want to
push. When you are ready, please complete your details on one of our Welcome
brochures (speak to one of our Welcome Team - they are wearing a green badge -
and they will be happy to help you). This will enable us to post out further
information that will help you to connect.
Discovering bethlehem baptist church lunch
Every
6 - 8 weeks after the Sunday service we host a lunch for those new to BBC. After
lunch we introduce the vision and philosophy of the church in a brief
presentation. These are relaxed gatherings, providing an opportunity to meet
the Pastoral team and helpful for those still deciding whether BBC is the right
place for them to call their church home. Lunch is complimentary; we only ask
that you advise the office of the number attending. You and your family are
most welcome. To see when the next welcome lunch is on, please see our whats on page and contact us if you would like to attend.
Small groups
Here
at BBC we realize the importance of small groups. These allow a deeper level of
relationship and accountability. We have a variety of groups that meet in
various locations throughout the city. Please check out the groups on the Small
Group notice board in the foyer - feel free to visit a few different groups to find the one
you ‘best fit'.
Special interest groups
These allow people with the same passions and interests to meet together and have fun. These groups are great for making friends and are an amazing tool for evangelism, as they provide an opportunity for you to bring along your friends and neighbours to experience Christians hanging out together. See our page on Special Interest Groups for more information.
And then...
There are lots of activies, events and opportunities throughout the year for different parts of our community to enable you to integrate into the life of the of the church, please see our weekly notices in church and our whats on page for more information.
Get Involved
Being a large church there are loads of ministries you can get involved in as well as serving opportunities. Please have a look at our serving opportunities page to see what is available.
Please feel free
to contact Eunice Chivers, if
you require any further information on how to get connected with us.
