Abraham - This contains the latest podcast dated 25th Jul 2010
Abraham is the Bibles father of faith. Throughout this series in Genesis we're going to discover why he came to be this iconic figure. Plucked from obscurity Abraham goes through a remarkable metamorphisis that sees him translate from being a newcomer and a struggler with faith to become the giant that he's recognised as today. Abraham's faith journey is not beyond our own understanding or experience as we can easily relate to his challenges and triumphs. I'm sure you'll enjoy this series.

Help
The "Help!" series picks up on 6 subjects that christians wrestle with. In my time as a pastor there are repeated themes which appear to cycle throughout the christian experience as really difficult personal issues. I'd like to suggest that you won't find this series helpful because you have your house in order in every arena. But my guess is that one or more of these subjects will awaken you to a cry for Jesus lordship in your life.
Power passages
In this series I drew upon the collective wisdom of our Bethlehem Baptist congregation by asking of them "what passages of scripture do they find powerful in their own lives and why?" So in this series there are a number of different passages that reflect the results of this survey and where possible I have quoted from the submitters their thoughts on the passage and why this text is so important to them. I trust you'll enjoy this eclectic series as much I've enjoyed pulling it all together.
Community Life
Christian faith is designed by God to be lived in community. Genesis tells us that "it is not good for man to be alone". In this series we look at spritual transformation and the results of our lives being lived in community for the benefit of God and others. We'll be addressing how the world has changed around us and how we can make new forms of community. We'll be looking at how scripture describes in detail how we should respond to one another during times of celebration and crisis. I'm sure you'll enjoy this series as it unfolds in the weeks ahead
Mountain Top Encounters
Throughout scripture we find God meets with people on Mountain tops to shape the direction of their lives in new ways. In this series we'll be looking at these encounters and ask how God would meet with us today to create similar outcomes. In this series we have a number of different mountain guides who will lead you up these mountains to see the view. Listen and enjoy.

Nehemiah
The book of Nehemiah, the importance of rebuilding the wall in the city of Jerusalem.

This series covers the book of Nehemiah. Through it we shall see and understand the burden on Nehemiah to obey and to act toward God’s calling, and the challenge to give the people of Jerusalem a renewed identity, security and safety. In addition it discusses the importance of team work and individual endeavour to see God’s will accomplish.
S.M.I.L.E
Everyone has values. In 2007 Craig and the Eldership went through the process of defining the 5 core values that are present in and relevant to the life of Bethlehem Baptist. These values emerged into 5 strategic points that now serve to strengthen the life and direction of our church. I'm sure you'll enjoy the clarity of these messages as they speak of the future hopes and direction of the church.
Galatians
The apostle Paul founded this fledgling church in the midst of a diverse cultural mix. Here the colliding worlds of Jews, Gentiles and the church resulted in confusion that Paul had to address in this letter to the Galatians. Paul lays down a foundation of Grace that has allowed the Church to understand the simlpicity of Jesus' gospel into the present day.
Jacob
Men of God are made they don't just appear. In Jacob's story we follow his life from the womb to the grave and we get to see how this deciever met and wrestled with God throughout his life to become a celebrated patriach. Our lives will have many of these twists and turns therefore we have much to learn from Jacob's journey.
