Welcome to the Children’s Ministry of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Our aim is for all children to feel loved and accepted when entering.
We run a range of age related Sunday programmes for your children to be involved in. Throughout the year we also run some social events and outreaches for the children.
Our Leaders and Youth Leaders love the children and are passionate towards serving them.
If you have any questions or concerns about your child please do not hesitate to call. We would love to help in any way we can.

SUMMERTIME
Over the Summertime our normal term time programme stops and we have our Sunday Holiday Programme.
Nurture (infants)- Come to the nurture lounge and enjoy coffee and cake while listening to the service with others just like you.
Sparkx(0-3yrs) and Voltz(3-5yrs) will be spending the summer together in a variety of indoor and outdoor fully supervised activities to keep your child engaged. They will split into their two groups and resume a normal term-time programme in Feb.
Primary School age group AMPT have got the following planned over the Summer:
29 January – Leon Durbin – Professor IMA NUTZ
Normal AMPT programme begins again 5 February.
We have a number of other mid-week activities available for you and your children to get involved in that operate during term-time such as ICONZ, ICONZ for girls, Kidz club, Mainly Music and Kids + playgroup.

W.I.R.E.D Youth in years 9-13(TOP)
Wired Youth and Wednesdays is where it’s at people!
We have WOW (w.i.r.e.d. on Wednesday) during term time @BBC 6.45-8.45pm on a fortnight - this is our large group time with all youth being together for games, worship time, a pumping message, food and more!
On alternate fortnights we have Lgroups - small “life” groups at peoples houses 6.45-8.45pm. Everyone is put into Lgroups with different leaders and it is an awesome time to get to know each other more and ask questions.
As well as Wednesday nights we have igroups - interest groups in things such as Radiate (girls group), bargain shopping, youth band, sports, hunting & fishing, dance, drama plus more...
Radiate is a girl’s Group that is on every second Monday afternoon (during term time), 3.30-5pm @ BBC. We always have yum food, talks and lots more. For More Info, contact Rachel 027 441 1646 or youth@bethlehem.org.nz
Camps:
Going on camp is a highlight in our year. We go to Easter Camp and also host our own youth camp.
Social Activities: We run social activities throughout the term, check out our calendar to see what we have planned.
PHASE - yr 7 & 8 (intermediate)(TOP)
PHASE is action packed and down to earth... Growing up is a full on endeavour and so we aim to make that as smooth a transition as possible. And why not have fun along the way with a bunch of other energy filled guys and girls....
PHASE is run by a dedicated team of volunteers who have an amazing amount of energy and creativity.

POS - Phase on Sundays
Phase meets at 9am and 10.45am on a Sunday morning during term time. We have a great time together and have a variety of exciting activities and games and well as topical discussion that is both contemporary and relevant to this age group
Phase Too (year 9's during the school term) Youth in year 9 - this group is aimed to help year 9 young people transition from a weekly “out of church” environment to a greater knowledge and participation of a church service and how this works. Meets weekly (during the school term) during 9am service only in Pastor Ross’s office.
PS - Phase Social
At least once a month - great fun and youth love bringing friends along.
E Camp
The annual blast -E Camp is a must... A great way to meet new friends, have a holiday away from home and most importantly understand more about the Christian Faith.
